In the surroundings of Morro Branco, lies the no less famous beach of Praia das Fontes (water-spring beach). This beach has won the acclaim for its water sports. As the name suggests, it owes its fame to a lovely set of crystal-clear fresh water springs, which sprouts from the ground and spills over down the beach, providing a wonderful fresh-water shower after a salt-water dip in the sea.
